Hello...

Thank you for your interest in MIND-MAGIC.

I hope this e-zine will benefit you and bring you closer to understanding yourself.

Before you begin anything in life; a relationship, a job, a project, a weight loss program, or a spiritual journey you have to possess one primary thing. You have to have love for yourself. So many of us neglect to celebrate our individuality. Instead we hide beneath guilt and fear and shame.

We are swallowed up by messages telling us that we are unworthy of love. They are not true. The trick is to be able to not listen to those messages and not let them dictate your actions.

You are an endangered species. You contribute something special to the world. You don't have to starve yourself from love and respect. Learn to love yourself and you'll find peace of mind.

Someone once wrote, "You don't write to get a reaction. You write for personal reasons." That would explain why I am doing MIND-MAGIC. During my quest to find self-acceptance I've compiled a lot of information. Some of it made sense, and some of it didn't. Some of it also inspired change while some of it left me even more confused.

I decided that I wanted to offer what I have found to other people. It is my hope that by sharing information in a straightforward, practical way I can help you find a sense of inner balance with less pain and confusion than I had to go through.

I've realized there are key things to know in order to acquire self-acceptance. I will be detailing these principles within MIND- MAGIC.

I do want to say one quick thing about religion. I believe one's relationship with the Higher Power they choose to believe in is a personal and sacred thing. Therefore, I do not touch upon specific spiritual beliefs in my writing or the information I choose to share.

I don't believe it's up to me to promote one spiritual view over another.

I think we have so few things in the world which are truly our own. I think your sense of spirituality and your beliefs should be your own.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to e-mail me anytime. I'd also love to hear about your life experiences if you wish to share them with me.

Be well...

Wendy

P.S Thursday, May 28, 1998: It's been a year since I wrote this introduction. When I first began M-M I wanted to use it to escape all the negativity in my life. Then, I got lured into the idea of turning this e-zine into a money-making venture. But now, I finally understand my need to maintain M-M. I want to offer unconditional love to the world...without asking for anything in return. If I can bring you a little more information, wisdom, happiness or peace than you had before you read my writing then that makes this endeavor worthwhile for me. I think it's about having faith, and if you give with an open heart, you will be rewarded. I give you my heart...with love.
