You are on a mission.
That mission is to learn as much about love as you can within your lifetime.
Your reward is peace of mind.
All the complications, the disappointments, and the frustrations are arrows that barely miss the target each time you and your heart finds the strength to aim for love.
There are blisters on your fingers. Your shoulders ache. Tears stream down your cheeks. But you never stop trying because you know that one day you will hit the target. It's never a question of whether or not you will ever be loved or how much you will be loved. How you go about learning about love is what truly matters.
QUESTION: WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT? QUESTION: WHAT IS LESS IMPORTANT?
Finding a deep, profound love for yourself is where your journey begins.
You've invested so much time in other people. You've cared, you've worried, you've sacrificed, you've listened. All what you've wanted in return is love.
You feel a lingering emptiness that you believe will go away if only you give enough of yourself. First allow love to thrive inside your own heart. Then you will find it in the world around you. Love exists inside an open heart.
Open your heart.
Have no agenda. Have no expectations.
If you were a chef who spent decades learning about food and cooking, you'd know the difference between a good meal and a bad one. As your knowledge and appreciation for food grew, you'd become more determined to create dishes that gave people a magnificent eating experience they'd never forget. And you would succeed at this because at some point you will have decided that you deserve to give the best to yourself and to everyone whose path you cross. Committing to love is no different.
QUESTION: WHAT IS SAFE?
QUESTION: WHAT IS FRIGHTENING?
*Love is about giving.
Honor yourself by giving yourself honesty and truth. Give yourself the same grace you crave for from others. Giving to yourself isn't selfish. It's the only way to keep yourself alive.
*Love is about receiving
There isn't anything more cruel than when someone has taken your spirit and wrung it out as if it were a wet dishcloth. They empty your pureness and leave you in pain. Don't let pain keep you from believing you deserve to receive. You are stronger than pain.
*Love is about sharing
No matter what has happened in your past, you never have to be afraid
of sharing. The core of sharing comes from acceptance. If you accept, you
will be accepted. That is what it means to FLOW.
Discovering who you are will help you to make peace with yourself. I promise you that once you become content with the unique being you are, you will no longer settle for second best. You will demand the powerful, most real love-and you will get it.
-Stop being critical of yourself
-Stop comparing yourself to others
-Learn to relax
-Take care of your body
-Protect your heart
Find a deep, profound love for yourself and you will never feel alone again.
Like a comforting fire, love will bring you warmth that procreates a solid respect for yourself and an unbreakable self-trust that will never abandon you.
We are all sharing the experience of being human. When you truly love yourself then you begin to relate to the people in your life with complete truth and absolute honesty. You'll appreciate the freedom openness brings.
QUESTION; WHAT IS SATISFYING?
QUESTION: WHAT IS EMPTY?
Listen to the people you love. Listen to them just as much as you care about them. Let them be who they are. Let them be who they need to be. Give yourself the same devotion.
It's a warm, beautiful summer day. Two children sit side by side on a blanket until a sprawling tree. There is a big pile of M&Ms between them. "One for you," says one of the children as he picks up a candy between his index finger and thumb and places in the palm of the other child's hand. "And one for me," he says picking up another M&M and pops it into his mouth.
-LOVE IS SHARING
-LOVE IS GIVING
-LOVE IS RECEIVING
...and -LOVE IS EXTENDING YOURSELF TO OTHERS
You deserve nothing less than goodness.
You are not alone. You will never be alone. For as long as you continue to dwell in my heart you will be honored and loved. If there is anything I wish for you, it is that you receive as much love as you choose to give.
FINAL THOUGHTS

Start With Yourself
The following words were written on the tomb an Anglican Bishop (1100 A.D. )in the Crypts of Westminster Abbey:
When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country.
But it, too, seemed immovable.
As I grew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me, but alas, they would have none of it.
And now as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realize: If I had only
changed myself first, then by example I would have changed my family. From
their inspiration and encouragement, I would then have been able to better
my country and, who knows, I may have even changed the world.
